Beginning May 16, our team of skilled professionals will start laying the ground work for improvements in 25 classrooms across campus. These classrooms, spread across Art + Architecture, Bailey Education, the Baker School, Brehm Animal Science, Dougherty Engineering, Food Science, Humanities & Social Sciences, Taylor Law, and Veterinary Medical Center. Below is a description of the work that will take place in each space:

As students finish up finals for Spring 2025 and leave the classroom behind, In-House Construction crews will take their place as they start the process of summer classroom upgrades
Art + Architecture Room 325: Lighting and control work, fresh paint, new carpet, ceiling/diffusers, and clean furniture
Bailey Education Complex Rooms (A202, A252, A301, A327, A328, A425, and A501: lighting and control work
Baker School of Public Policy Rooms 204 & 205: sound masking, lighting and control work
Brehm Animal Science Rooms (130, 134, 135, 136, 142): lighting and control work, fresh paint, replacing acoustic panels, new clocks, new instructor chairs and tables, new whiteboards, and waxed floors, chair rail replacement/installation, and replacement of cove bases.
Dougherty Engineering (Rooms 416, 429, 501, and 517): lighting and control work, new furniture, new clocks, fresh paint, new carpet, and new whiteboards
Food Science Building Room 115: lighting and control work, fresh paint, new clocks, new furniture, new whiteboard installation, and clean/waxed floors
Humanities and Social Sciences Room 123: Lighting and control work, fresh paint, new carpet, new furniture, refreshed fabric wall covering, new whiteboards, and refreshed wall fabric coverings

Taylor Law Complex 237 & 241: ceiling work, carpet replacement, fresh paint, and new screen installation
Taylor Law Complex Room 242: Carpet replacement and fresh paint
Veterinary Medical Center Room A203: lighting and control work, fresh paint, carpet replacement, new clocks, thermostat relocation, new furniture, and installation of blinds, a chair rail, and whiteboards
With 25 classrooms to modernize & improve, In-House Construction has already started the process to ensure all upgrades are completed prior to the start of the fall semester. It’s a large, complex and challenging endeavor, with the right team engaged to make it happen!
