AIA Honor for ANRB

BarberMcMurry and Lord Aeck Sargent recently notified UT Facilities Services that the Agriculture and Natural Resources Building (ANRB) on the UT Institute of Agriculture campus has received a design award from the Georgia chapter of the American Institute of Architecture.

Features of the Facility

The ANRB is a four-story living research environment for students, with biophilic planters, a green roof, and a research patio garden integrated into the design. Programmatic spaces include classrooms, laboratories and shared research spaces, collaboration and “huddle” rooms, and a large multipurpose event/conference space. The space is already transforming the way students work, study, research, and collaborate on campus, and it’s an honor to have this facility recognized for its excellence and efficiencies. Congratulations to all who played a role in bringing such a fantastic facility to campus – especially Facilities Planning and Design!
