Facilities Services Scholarship Funds
Thanks to countless donors within and outside of Facilities Services, we have the wonderful opportunity to provide scholarships to several UT students each year – all with ties back to our team. From student assistants to Facilities Services family members, we actively search for opportunities to support the academic endeavors of future world changers through the Facilities Services Student Assistant Scholarship fund, the Bob Evans Memorial Scholarship fund, and the John C. Parker Scholarship endowment.
Student Assistant Scholarship
The Facilities Services Student Assistant Scholarship Fund provides an opportunity for current for student assistants within the department who are receiving real world experience in their chosen field of study to ease the financial burden of paying for tuition.
Established in late 2017, the fund targets students at the junior, senior and graduate level. Applicants show how their experience at Facilities Services directly ties to their chosen field of study. Only paid student assistants are eligible for this award. Facilities Services will award the seventh annual scholarship for the 2025-2026 academic year.
The deadline to submit applications for the 2024-2025 academic year is Wednesday, April 10.

Bob Evans Memorial Scholarship
The Bob Evans Memorial Scholarship Fund accepts applications from children, grandchildren, step-children, or step-grandchildren of individuals who are currently employed by or retired from the Facilities Services Department.
John C. Parker Scholarship Endowment
In honor of his legacy, Mrs. Martha Parker established the John C. Parker, Sr. Memorial Scholarship Endowment in memory of Mr. Parker, a longtime Executive Director in Facilities Services (formerly known as the Physical Plant). Financial Aid awards this scholarship to a student who is a legal dependent of a Facilities Services employee (current, retired, or deceased.)
Facilities Services Scholarship Golf Tournament
Facilities Services will host the 2025 Scholarship Golf Tournament at Three Ridges Golf Course on Thursday, April 17. Registration is closed. Please contact Alyssa Antal for more information at aantal@utk.edu.
This year’s tournament supports the Bob Evans Memorial Scholarship Fund.
