From planning, design, and construction to landscape and building maintenance, repairs, and cleaning, they have a hand in every aspect of the campus, playing a crucial role in supporting its mission. PROJECT SPOTLIGHTS

Haslam Business Expansion
In August, the University of Tennessee broke ground on the Haslam College of Business expansion. The new building will support the college’s growth, as Haslam is currently the largest college at UT in undergraduate enrollment.
College of Nursing building
The project will create a new 117,000-square-foot, five-story building. The project includes 7 Classrooms, 250 Seat Auditorium, 17 Nursing Sim Spaces, and an Outdoor Teaching/Event Plaza.
Perkins Hall
The University of Tennessee, Knoxville has seen rapid growth in our engineering programs, and Facilities Services has been tasked with making improvements that have an impact on students and researchers.
CAMPUS-HOSTED CLASSROOM UPGRADES
During Summer 2025, In-House Construction will work on upgrades to 25 classrooms. Each classroom is unique, and the upgrades to it will vary per site. Upgrades may include LED lighting with dimming controls, paint, carpet, acoustic panels, clocks, and/or furniture.

In Facilities Services, quality service is our highest priority. We are committed to keeping our campus operational and beautiful, and service requests are an important part of this work. Whether you need an office suite painted or a carpet cleaned, we’re happy to help once we receive an initial service request. If you have an emergency repair need, please contact our One Call helpline at 865-946-7777.

ONE CALL AWAY, 24 HOURS A DAY
The Facilities “One Call” line is available 24/7 365 days of the year. Customers can call 865-946-7777, or 6-7777 from a campus phone, and speak live with a Facilities Services representative. Customer service is very important to us. Programming 865-946-7777 in your contacts is a help when you need to report a problem and don’t have time to look up different phone numbers whether it’s day or night.
